The Green Goat is moving to SoFay! Fayetteville’s original Cuban-inspired eatery has moved to The Goat Pen on MLK & Wood, right next to our Chuckwagon. We have loved our time at the Yacht Club, but with summer coming, it’s time to move the Goat to a place with some shade!
If you haven’t been there yet, The Goat Pen sports two large bench tables (courtesy of from the Habitat for Humanity Re-Store), several smaller tables, plenty of tall pine trees for shade, and the cutest little tuxedo cat in the world!
Plus we will continue to have a pop-up market and live artists on the weekends, whenever it’s feasable (which is most of the time).
The Great Goat was back up for business on Tuesday, although we may shut down a couple of weekends for catering and festivals (we’ll keep you informed).
We’ll keep the same food you know and love while adding soups & salads to the menu.
And if you haven’t heard, our chuckwagon serves breakfast–including Fayetteville’s only sour-dough biscuits–as well as lunch and dinner. Come see where the tomatillo sandwich first got its start in Fayetteville! Try the gumbo if you haven’t already, we make the roux from scratch!
